United Jewish Appeal Aspen Valley is committed to helping Jews in need locally and around the world. Through your generous donations we are able to assist those who need help in SO many ways.
HEBREW SCHOOL
Locally, we help fund 3 Hebrew schools, where children begin early on to learn about Jewish faith, tradition, and what it means to be Jewish.
TRAVEL CERTIFICATES TO ISRAEL
As our local teens celebrate their Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, UJA Aspen Valley presents them with a $1000 certificate to be used for travel to Israel to further their Jewish studies.
GOLSHIM L’CHAIM
Each winter UJA Aspen Valley helps to fund the Golshim L’Chaim “Ski To Live” program. This unique program brings disabled Israeli soldiers to Aspen for a week of skiing, healing, and self-exploration.
The money that we raise also helps Jews around the world. We support the JDC whose projects are not just in Israel, but all over the world. The link below has several short videos of how your dollars help Jews in desperate need in the Former Soviet Union
