Rob Leavitt – President
I joined the UJA board in 2005 to pursue my interest in
Jewish causes and helping Israel. Now, as president, I
hope to spread this passion to others in the Roaring Fork
Valley. I Live in Basalt with my lovely wife Erika and our
two young daughters Eden Tess and Jordan Bee, and when I am not
working in construction, real estate, or teaching skiing, I like
to fish, bike and hike.

Richard Shenk, Vice
President and Campaign Co-Chair
Richard
has served as UJA Campaign Chair previously. Before moving full
time to Snowmass Village, he served as President of the Cincinnati
Jewish Federation.

Robert
Sirkus, Treasurer
My wife and I have been full time residents of the Valley
for two years. I am excited to be involved with UJA here
after serving on various committees at the Atlanta Federation for
the past 10 years. |

Richie Pearlstone - Deputy Campaign Chair
Richie
has previously served as UJA President and as Campaign Chair and
was one of the founders of UJA Aspen Valley. Richie is currently
also Chairperson of the Board of Governors of Jewish Agency for
Israel (JAFI) |

Melinda Goldrich – Chair, Lion of Judah; Chair, Nominating Committee
Melinda
just completed a four-year term as UJA President. She has been
involved with UJA for many years. |

Alan Altman - New Board Member
My
wife Judi and I have been part-time residents the past 5 years and
became permanent
residents 6 months ago. I am a consultative gynecologist
specializing in menopause and sexual dysfunction, as well as the
local Mohel. |

Julie Puchkoff - New Board
Member
I have lived in the Aspen area for over 20 years and work as an exercise
physiologist at Aspen Valley Hospital. I look forward to
getting more women involved with the Pomegranate
group and expanding our involvement in the Jewish
community. |

Nina Hawn Zale - New Board Member
I have been a lifelong supporter and active
participant in various Jewish causes and organizations. I look
forward to working to expand community involvement in Aspen and
appreciate the opportunity to strengthen local support. |

David F. Chazen -
Managing Director of Chazen Capital
Prior to Chazen Capital, David was a co-founder of Win Stuff
Corporation, a national operator of skill crane vending machines.
David was also a co-founder of Good Stuff Corporation, a
manufacturer of licensed toys. David currently serves as President
of both of these companies. Prior to that he was an associate at
Goldman Sachs in New York. David received his BS from the
University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, and his MBA from
Columbia Business School. David is on the Board of the Chazen
Institute at Columbia Business School, the Board of the
Society of Fellows of the Aspen
Institute, The Board of Jazz
Aspen, The Board of Natan,
and is a member of Young
President's Organization. His interests include Snowboarding
and Marathon Running. |

Sandy Goldman
Israel
Prior to moving to Aspen in 1977 and working
for The Snowmass Company, Aspen Magazine,
and KSNO Radio, Sandy was in Overseas
Training School in Washington DC as a covert employee for the
Central Intelligence Agency. She worked in the White House from
1964-1968 under Johnson/Humphrey. She is the co-founder of the Susan
G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation Race for the Cure and
remains a breast cancer activist. |
